MARCH 1989 Robert M. Cahners,

Three months to go until reunion. I assume everyone within hearing of this column has their plane ticket in hand by now and has started getting into partying shape. You should have your reunion yearbooks in time to marvel at how most of us are totally unrecognizable. Be sure to bring sunglasses as the sun reflecting off a goodly number of thinning pates throws off a devastating glare. On the other hand some of you haven't done too badly, considering your age probably the result of your daughters' college-age friends running around the house.

My son has an unnatural affinity for the University of Nebraska and so, on January 2, I found myself at the Orange Bowl with Mary Alice and Don Kubit. In addition to being a partner in the law firm of Patton & Kanner in Miami, Don is the chairman of the Orange Bowl team selection committee. The seats were obviously the best in the stadium (what else?) and although former University of Miami Dean Kubit reveled in the way the Hurricanes took the Hapless 'Huskers apart, he didn't rub it in too much.

In a recent announcement from up here in New England, Dialogue, Inc. announced that Chris Palmer had been elected to its executive advisory board. Dialogue is a Boston-area telecommunications company specializing in the design, sale, and installation of voice processing systems. Chris is the principal of his own private accounting, tax, and financial advisory services practice. Prior to beginning his own practice, he was a partner in the Boston office of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. He is a director/trustee of the Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, Coastal Technologies, Inc., Dartmouth Alumni Association of Eastern Massachusetts, the Marymount School of Paris, and the Harvard Club of Boston.
