Jennifer Archibald '85, granddaughter of DougArchibald, has been elected to the Alumni Council as one of the atlarge candidates. Word from Jim Martin is that his cancer is in remission, and he looks for final test and opinion from his doctor soon. Otherwise, he and Kit are doing well. Cameras were busy at our 65th, and we have not only the excellent professional group pictures of (a) the entire group, and (b) the classmates alone, but also the more intimate ones by our classmate photographic buffs like Bunny Levison and others who have shared their results.

Ginny Burner reports from Napierville, Ill., that she continues in good health and sends greetings and good wishes to all. DickColton expresses regrets at missing the reunion. He reports that they will stay in Clearwater, Fla., until Christmas, then go to San Francisco to visit their two daughters and grandchildren and possibly to New Orleans to visit their son. Theodora Tower reports living a quiet life in Stone Institution, Newtown Upper Falls, with a lot of nice ladies who meet for meals and entertainment. Mail and TV keep her in touch with the outer world. Hawley Taft's reply to Scoof Newton's apology for missing him in the Newsletter spoke or how he enjoyed every minute of the reunion and his plans to make our 70th. Ken Montgomery, at dinner with Ted Geisel and Audrey, says that Geisel is excited about the Japanese making a film based on his recent book, Oh,The Places You'll Go.

Thought for the month: We are tomorrow's past; let's make it prideworthy.
