Support the class, support the Rockefeller Center Intern Program, and, if you attend mini-reunions, support them. That is the very earnest call from Charlie Morrison, class treasurer. Charlie reports that about one-third of our classmates did not pay their class dues last year. Since every penny is used exclusively to support class activities and pay Alumni Magazine subscriptions for all classmates, it behooves all of us to make at least the basic contribution. Let's improve our record.

Ed Scott reports from Vancouver, British Columbia, about his boating activities. It all started 35 years ago while he attended the Army Language School in Monterey, Calif. Ron Dunton took him out on the water for his first sailing experience and he has been hooked on it ever since. After many years of crewing on racing boats, Ed bought his first keep boat in Toronto and took it with him to western Canada in 1976. It has been his main hobby ever since ("probably contributed to the end of my marriage"), and he spends as much time as possible on the water and with the Canadian Power & Sail Squadron. He is commander of Capileno Squadron in West Vancouver. I haven't seen Ed since Fort Holabird after which he went to Japan to keep the world safe for democracy while I did the same in West Germany.

George O'Connor, reports at length about his extensive involvement in law enforcement over the years. George and his wife, Terry, have lived in Troy, N.Y., for 17 years. After 13 years as Commissioner of Public Safety, he retired in 1987 and formed a small but high quality consulting business: Police Development Services Inc., One Warrent Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. Despite his efforts to work close to home, George's knowledge and experience led to a strong demand for his services. He spent the summer of 1988 in Bridgeport, and most of 1989 in downtown Brooklyn, designing the security force for the Metrotech project.

Regarding the personal adventures of your class secretary: my daughter Carol and Terry Roper were married on September 29 in a lovely garden setting in Arroyo Grande, Calif. (near San Luis Obispo). Phyllis and I journeyed forth, accompanied by our daughter Genee and her daughter Jocylen, our first granddaughter. J.B., as she is known to her friends, is 14 months old. She enjoyed immensely her first airplane flight, wedding and champagne.
