George Graboys garners more honors as he heads into a constructive "retirement." The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists announced in April that it has honored Dr. Ray Corwin for outstanding service in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The award is given annually to the physician who has done the most for the specialty within his district—in Ray's case, Western United States and Canada, exclusive of California. He has been very active at the local, district, and national levels, as well as being former chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital and playing a continuing administrative role at the hospital by serving on and chairing its numerous committees.

Dick Page sent along a recent clipping from the Stamford (Conn.) Advocate with a picture of Barry Nova, marketing consultant and chairman of the Greenwich Democratic Town Committee. Barry acknowledges that Greenwich is a tough crowd for the Democrats but thinks that there's an opportunity this time.

On the personal side, my wife, Phyllis, has retired from the Ossining, N. Y. public schools after three decades as a music educator. She will, of course, continue to be involved in the music world, emphasizing the piano, and will be able to spend more time in her second career as a financial planner with National Life of Vermont. I have just entered the financial planning field with the Westchester Financial Group here in Tarrytown. We are involved in all aspects of financial planning and implementation and are affiliated with Allmerica Investments under the State Mutual Companies out of Worcester, Mass.

Harry and Carol Robinson came to a retirement party for Phyllis at our home in June. In July, Phyllis and I spent a delightful two weeks visiting relatives and friends in Wisconsin and Minnesota, including Phyllis's 40th high school reunion in Duluth, Minn. On the way to the heartland, we visited with Clark and Donna Davis in Erie, Pa. Let me remind you that Clark has planned a wide variety of fun events for Dartmouth Night Weekend in October.
