Quote: "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood."
After Rollins, Rogers studied at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and became a Presbyterian minister. A master's degree in child development followed, along with marriage to a concert pianist. Small children know him as the overmaster of "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood's" Land of Make Believe, where a distracted king and assorted small animals engage in mild ethical discussions.
Kids know him fondly as "Mister."
