In his newsletter BillScherman asked that we root for the Big Green to win against Columbia. We followed instructions. It was a breathless last minute after we blocked a punt and reached the two-yard-line with 12 seconds to go. We yelled "field goal" Coach agreed—and we won 13-12!

In addition to Joy Dwyer and me, the "we" included those perennial Dartmouth cheerleaders, Gene and Nina Orsenigo, with daughter, grandson, and friends. He still works at his office furniture business, even opened a new branch, and shrewdly has daughter Nina helping him. They have ten grandchildren now, and took three to see Hanover and the Brown game. (No wonder we won!)

Also there but cheering from the Columbia side, Howie and Shirley Rosenblum. They were sitting with granddaughter Amy, a Columbia senior and captain of their fencing team. The real estate manager is preparing a double home in the Thetford area to share with daughter Lynn. Daughter Jill lives and works in Hanover.

During Reunion, the Treasure Room at Baker Library put clear focus on what one distinguished segment of our remarkable class accomplished. Books authored by over 30 classmates were neatly displayed. Those '34 authors who were at Reunion and ready for autographs: Stew Alexander, HafeyArthur, Dick Campen, Bernie Cushman,Bill Emerson, Elmer Fulton, Bill Reid,Bob Rodman, Bill Scherman, Stan Silverman, Dr. Bob Smith, and John Spiegel. The author listing will be completed in a future column so you can walk in Baker Library and ask for published books of old comrades.

Some of you have reminded me that grandparent stats get out-of-date quickly. The original survey was completed in 1984 by many of you, with 1988 and 1989 updates for those who missed the first chance. For example, I learned that Ed Marshall now has two great-grandchildren. Suppose you grandparents out there with ten or more grandchildren, or any great-grandchildren, send me the word. Then I'll update the grandparent roster. It's a '34 "Wheel of Fortune" game.
