Dear Class: March, April, May—and then June! That means right now is the time to mate up your mind to join the 250-plus classmates, wives, widows, and guests who have already signed up for the 50th! Just let Brownie know you're coming: E.T.Browne, 7440 Willowwood Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32966.

Recent mail starts off with Seymour Wheelock, who sent in a nice hello along with the news that they'll be coming to the 50th. He mentions other classmates from the Denver area: Philip (Pete) Alexander, continuing his interest in geneaology; Bruce Espy, whom he hasn't seen lately; Dick Campbell, very involved with the PGA; and Bob Perry alive and well in the Aspen area. Seymour also sent along a page from Eleazar's Narrative ... wondering how many recent presidents have read it. Good question.

Along with the news comes some sad news, that we lost two classmates in November1989: Edward M. Fritz and Ernest R. Lendler. Our sympathies go to their families and friends. Obituaries will appear in a subsequent issue.

Ray Dau sent in his annual report. He and Suzanne have moved to Ocala, FL 32675 (5110 NW, 75th Avenue) where they live on a fine golf course. They moved in just in time for last December's freeze! Their daughter, Nancy, was married last November. Son Bruce continues to succeed with organic farming near Santa Cruz, Calif.

December also brought a note from DE Jones. He and Barb are putting their Captiva place on the market and plan to go to Michigan in May. All very busy just now. And a quickie from Chuck Haskell ... all is well out in Sun City, Ariz. Chuck has heard from Lee Bassett recently Lee keeping on the move as usual.

Gard Ashley has the next to last word, with a postcard showing him at his retirement banquet, singing the farewell aria from Gounod's Faust. Wonderful! We hope you have it on tape! By the time you read this, I will have fully recovered from a prechristams lung operation. Came home on New Year's Day with a 100 percent positive forecast—and that was my Christmas present!

See you at the 50th!
