It is a rare occasion when I hear from you guys and even rarer when the handwriting is legible. And so I am about 85-percent sure that Henry Fields is now dean of dentistry at Ohio State University. My records show that he was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but my records also show that he goes by Bill, not Henry, so what do I know!

I got a card from Rick Willets saying that all is well with him and his and that he is now chairman of the Deny school board where a major overhaul of the school system is in the offing. Film at 11:00.

I just caught the end of a TV program about how Medicare funds are being distributed in Oregon, and of course, John Kitzhaber was prominently featured. John has been at the center of this controversy for quite some time, and no doubt we will be hearing more about it and him in the future.
