Hi everyone! News from the West Coast. Hallidie Grant reports that she attended Greg Jaeger's "surprise" wedding in Washington, D.C., in late September. (I guess that a call to attend a wedding in two weeks does qualify as a surprise.) A group of '81s were in attendance, including Kirk Wilson and wife Annette. Kirk is still at Morgan Stanley in New York. Becky Nyren was there with her husband and six-month-old baby in tow. Becky was a law school classmate of Greg's now-wife Patty, and, in fact, rumor has it that Becky introduced Patty and Greg.

Dave Plough and John Gilroy did not attend the ceremony, but were able to make the bachelor's party way to go, guys! Both came in for the evening, Dave from Los Angeles on the "red-eye" and then back the next day. Also attending was "mystery guest" Joe Gregor who was Greg's freshman year roommate. Joe had been in Boston working for Ropes, Gray (alongside such notable law scholars as JennyToolin McAuliff) but had not been heard from for ages. Greg finally tracked him down to practically next door in Baltimore. Joe is now working for Connecticut General as a regional office head.

Hallidie also reported that she, KathyShephard, and ten other Bay Area bike fanatics took a ten-day, 250-mile trip from Colorado to Utah. As you may remember, Shep works for a mountain bike company and was a clear winner of the "best bike" award.

Finally, I have a belated baby announcement. Tom Booher and Beth Harris had a baby girl, Katherine, in January Congratulations!
