Hi, all! As I write this, Ross Perot is deciding whether to enter (or re-enter) the presidential race. Although his presence and views are creating some agitation and useful discussion, I wish he would not keep talking about being an "active" candidate. It's distracting. But rather than agitate you all with my political views, let me spread the news (such as it is).

Mark C. Davis is a director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Salomon Brothers and was recently elected to the board of directors at Valassis Communications Inc. Mark received an M.B.A. from Tuck in 1984. He and his wife, Bridget, live in Rye, N.Y., with their three children.

I checked in with Sally Ankeny Reilly who lives with husband Toby Reilly in Marblehead. Sally sounds terrific and is enjoying her three children, Kendall 5, Heather 3, and Peter 16 months. Toby has recendy joined Point Software, where he is the marketing director for software to support the real estate industry.

Sally and Toby see fellow Marblehead residents Mark and julie Stiles Matuschak. Julie and Mark, both lawyers, have a little boy, Nick, who is a bit shy of four years old. As luck would have it, Nick Matuschak and Heather Reilly are in the same nursery-school class.

Sally also reports that Molly Sundberg VanMetre and her husband, Doug, had their first baby, a girl, in February. Molly is now back at work at Norwest Bank..
