There is very little news this month, but I'll report what I've got! Kate Read is the education director for the Hanover Consumer Co-op. Kate has just been elected to the board of directors of the National Cooperative Business Association. NCBA, a national association of co-ops (agricultural, marketing, consumer, housing, and others), promotes the interests of co-ops in the U.S. and abroad.
Nancy Milholland was ordained in May as a deacon in the Episcopal Church and is now a full-time associate at St. John's Episcopal Church in Saginaw, Mich.
Ann Smolowe has moved west to Portland with her husband, Jim, an architect, and children Emily and Jeremy. Ann will be handling Project Adventure's west coast activities.
Danielle Dyer has moved to Chicago with her husband Alec Kloman '80. Danielle is part of APM's growing Chicago practice.
Gail Chen and husband Jim Morris recently had their first baby, a little girl named Kayla Shi-Xia.
Mitch Boss is in Seattle, where he is a software developer for a start-up company. Mitch has a baby girl named Megan who is one and a half.
Jim Wells lives in Goleta, near Santa Barbara, where he is a geology consultant. Jim's wife is a professor at University of California Santa Barbara.
