John Guppy's classmates will be pleased to learn that he is very much recovered and at home. My report in the October '23 Class Notes that he was at a nursing home in Florida was in error. Fortunately, he reports, he does not even notice the loss of his rib or kidney.

In October your class secretary presented the Memorial Lecture, in honor of a leader in his field, at the annual conference of the American Academy of Industrial Hygiene in Vancouver. His subject was an update of his recently published monograph entitled "Occupational Exposure Limited Worldwide," covering 45 countries and 1,883 toxic substances used in industry. He was also the introductory speaker in a session devoted to the subject of occupational exposure limits.
