It was warmer than usual, but at game time during the mini-reunion it was wetter than many a year. In spite of penalties and fumbles our team did well against Yale and made the afternoon in the stadium all worth the price of admission.

At the business meeting on Saturday, President Haak commended his class officers and each reported his function. This secretary explained that obituaries were backlogged because of space limitations. The backlog has recently been eliminated, but the editors will be enforcing strict word limits in order to continue publishing obituaries in a timely manner.
The treasurer, Bob Muenzberg, reported good response to the dues requests, and he is ahead of last year by some 50 responses at this time. He also reported that with a vote of approval, the memorial book program will be lump-sum funded and thus free up some funds that were for this purpose for other projects.

The Committee authorized, upon a request of the Athletic Department, the purchase for the hockey rink of a banner saying "1949 Ivy League Champs and Final Four NCAA," to honor this championship team.
John Stearns, our Alumni Council representative, was elected to the Executive Committee, whose size will be better suited to the task given this group. They are to meet with the administration and the trustees and convey to them the representative thoughts of all alumni. It is hoped that this system will provide better understanding of the feelings of the alumni body.
A vote was taken to continue the freshman trip scholarships for next year, and then Vail adjourned the meeting.
