More losses to report: George Dudley Green died December 7 in Denver, Colo. Also, Theodora Tower, widow of Walter "Tippy" Tower, December 28 in Newton, Mass. She was survived by four children, ten grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Speaking of great-grandchildren, Larry Leavitt reports that their four were there just after Christmas: two of Dorothy (Cheney) Seyfarth's and two of Margaret (Cheney) McNally's. Dorothy and Margaret are children of the Leavitt's daughter.

Dick Colton reported in, apparently still chipper, and was happy to receive his engraved pewter bowl noting his 50 consecutive yearly gifts to the Alumni Fund (as many of the rest of us have been so rewarded). He remarks that Dartmouth was a big part of his having so happy a life.

attended the 55th anniversary of the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous, over which Jack presided world-wide prior to his death. She was on the dais at the opening with over 40,000 attending and 75 countries represented. She and her children Dick and Pat are doing well, as are the two grandchildren. Ellie is busy with volunteering, music, and children, and is the leader of the Bell Ringers, which kept the bells ringing during Christmas. She also had four Russian women as guests, part of a U.S./U.S.S.R. exchange student program in December.

Dud Smith, retired architect, reporting from Denver, is still an active outdoorsman (skiing, mountain climbing, river running, travel). He and his wife have their 50th wedding anniversary in June. They have two sons, a daughter, and eleven grandchildren.

Marian Abel keeps busy visiting grandchildren, volunteering at church and hospital, playing bridge and struggling with the paper work which besets widows. She joined with Haven Blake and Fran Zahm at Thanksgiving and sends best wishes to all.

Bill Bunting says he's holding on and approves of the remark of the chorus girl to the next one in line: "Let's hope we have an uneventful evening."

Hanover sends us word of our Class of 1925 Scholar, Kellyann Mac Lean '92, who had an A average from her freshman year which placed her in the Third Honors group. She is a government major, active in many campus activities, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, and works at the Dana Biological Library.
