With just two months to go before our grand 40th Reunion, we are closing in on Jack Sutton's attendance goal of 190 classmates returning. As Al Mori and Joe Boissy, as well as Batch, through his great newsletters, have informed us, all the plans are made and everything is prepared to give you and yours on June 10-13 a three-day north-country holiday like you've never had since graduation. We hope that the 50-odd of us who are still undecided-but-leaning at this time will not give to "senior fence sitter" a new meaning! Which leads me to offer a few limericks:

Are you feeling all down in the dumps? Are you seeking a cure for the grumps? Then make plans right away For some '51 play: This reunion will smooth out the bumps.

As a senior you caused quite a scene When you sat on the fence on the green, But if you're to reune On the 10th of this June, Get off the fence, and be seen!

If you're not sure about our reunion, We'd like to say something to tune y'in: If you've got any sense, You'll spend a few pence: Some fun will surely not do y'in.

This reunion, our fortieth in number, Is a time you can sparkle, not lumber; For we're in our prime: It'll be a great time, So prepare to relax, but not slumber.

The 10th through 13 th of this June Is the time set aside to reune. You'll be glad that you came 'Cause you're more than a name, So send in that card—and right soon!
