Our 65th Reunion was attended by 23 men and 20 wives, children, relatives, and companions, making 43 of us to enjoy perfect Hanover weather. At our Friday night reception and dinner Nancy Elliott '43A, Mike McGean '49, and Frank and Drury Logan '52, all helpful Hanover friends, were our guests. At this event we honored Sid Hayward for awakening the class in 1938 at a meeting he called to strengthen our class organization. Eighteen men and 17 wives, plus one man's mother, came to Hanover August 27, and many plans were adopted to bring more classmates into year-round activities and friendships in class and College circles. After wards at Spaulding Auditorium we were deeply impressed by the beautiful musical program of the Glee Club and Chamber Singers.

Saturday morning in Hopkins Center a moving service was conducted by Reverend Karen S. Sheldon in remembrance of 466 classmates now with us only in spirit. Class meeting followed with just one action our diminished executive committee was restored to eight members. The class picture was then taken on the Hanover Inn steps, followed by a luncheon given by die College at Alumni Gym for 1926 and 1941, the 50-year class. President Freedman spoke. The evening reception and dinner was at the Inn's Wheelock Room. Art Smith, who played guard next to tackle Nate Parker on the Dartmouth 1925 national championship football team, spoke about Nate's leadership as captain of the team and elsewhere. We mourn Nate's death May 6, 1991. Jere Daniell '55, our speaker, gave an outstanding story of Dartmouth now and yesteryear, and answered many questions. Also we enjoyed the visiting Dartmouth Aires songsters. Ave Atque Vale!
