By now Bill Scherman will have done his remarkable job of typing in his newsletter our annual listing of address changes. You then update your '34 Directory. These were based on College records at the end of April. Other changes have no doubt occurred, and one major change is coming soon for four of your classmates. They are taking advantage of the new concept in retirement living coming to Hanover. It is called Kendal at Hanover, and opening of their 250 apartments on Lyme Road along the Connecticut River begins in mid-summer. Jim andMary Keeley, Herb and Evie Hawkes,Arthur and Heidi Wood, and Yours Truly are lined up for the move. Come see us at Kendal when you're in Hanover.

Just think, it's been 57 years since the "noxious lambs of '34," as we were tagged by '33 sophomores, became alumni. We've had a great variety of experiences and many address changes. We have had lots of trips around the country and the world. Also more families are at a distance now, and that leads to travel. EdCowie has an incentive to get to Thailand now, since that's where his daughter is living. Joy Dwyer has son Robert now in San Francisco, and that was excuse to go west and while there check out Sigrid Raphael, who is active in many directions and glad she located in California.

When I tried to reach Mort Foster one evening I found he also had gone to California, leaving his son in charge of the home front. Bob Warner says he has to stay home right now to keep track of all the deer running through his Connecticut property.

Your class officers attended the annual spring meeting at Hanover and heard lots of upbeat news about college programs and planning. And, thanks to Bill and Gerry Scherman, we had a good dinner and '34 Executive Committee meeting as the finale. Ed Brown advised that our treasury is still solvent. President Jack Tobin kept the meeting under control and said you are all invited to attend the next Executive Committee meeting as part of our mini-reunion on Sept. 28 before the Bucknell game. Arrange your schedules. Laura Heath promises to make the mini this year in between her Ohio and Florida visits.
