Vance Clark sends us word that HarveyBurton is in Candlewood Valley Care Center, having had a number of strokes. The address is Pawling, NY 12564.
Vance also reports, "For the first time in many decades, I recently flew to Denver accompanied by several friends, including Mary Perin, who, you will remember, came to Reunion with me. We were headed for Colorado Springs by car, and as it seemed easy to do I suggested we drive by where I had lived from 1901 to 1915. I had not seen the house for 68 years and realized it might now be a parking lot or a shopping center, or even a factory location. But no! There was the house that I had known so well as a child, the brick walls and wooden trim freshly painted, all very attrac- tive. Except for one thing. My memory was of a fairly large house. Today it was quite small! The neighborhood seemed largely unchanged, too, but nobody home. So when I got back I wrote to 'Occupant' at the address. Not many days later my phone rang—Occupant was calling. We chatted, and since then I have received a long letter with interesting information about 'my' house and its owners through all those years. I shall send Occupant some pictures I took of the house 80 years ago."
