Thanks to the handy-dandy postcard provided in the March Alumni Magazine, Dick Rosston has sent word of his current whereabouts in the "cross-section of existence." Dick is practicing commercial, healthcare, and Alaska native law in Anchorage. He and his wife, Joan Rohlf, also an attorney, boast of 10-year-old twin boys Matt and Ryan and a baby girl, Jean, born last January. Dick is national ski and toboggan advisor for the National Ski Patrol and reports that he is "balding and bearded and enjoying my family and the Alaskan outdoors." Thanks for taking a minute to use the reply card, Dick! Keep your fingers crossed that others will dig through their back issues and do the same.

Dave Bracken probably passed up the postcard because he had so much to report. In his own words, "After years of self-imposed silence, I finally have something to write about in the '73 notes!

"For the last three years or so, I have been working out of my house in a 'remote office' of the Organization Assessment Systems division of National Computer Systems (whew!). This was after leaving Bell South in 1989. I am serving as director, consulting services for NCS, mostly doing employee surveys for corporate America.

"NCS has decided that I have had enough of this leisure life and is shipping me (and family) from Atlanta up to headquarters, which is in Minneapolis! This will occur in early July, so we have plenty of time to complete weatherproofing in our new house (in case we have 24 inches of snow on Halloween like last year). My wife, Liz, will do the 'trailing spouse' routine and look for work as a medical secretary. Anne 15 and Ali 12 are a little more skeptical. I have had occasion to hook up with JimKallestad in prior trips up there and look forward to uncovering other Dartmouth alums as well.

"About the only other regular contact we have with '73ers is when Suzanne King is fitting our kids with braces and we can catch up on Thad's comings and goings (mostly goings). Occasionally talk to Bob Barr, who is doing a great job with the Alumni Fund, whipping his agents into action mercilessly."

Yes, Dave, you have redeemed yourself after past neglect. Thanks for the news and the perfect lead-in to my next topic: people like Thad, Bob, Brad Little, Paul Sehl, and ChetHomer, and all the work they for for our class. I know they do it out of love, but I still don't know where they get the energy.

Our 20th Reunion in the 21st year is scheduled for 1994 with the classes of '74 and '75, and there will be lots reunion and Alumni Fund planning to do. Brad is as enthusiastic as ever about planning festivities but hopes that someone else might want to offer new ideas and take part in the fun of organizing.

Paul never complains about the workload of the Alumni Fund—especially heavy in the middle of an important capital campaign like the Campaign for Excellence but I know with certainty that he welcomes all the help he can get. If you're out there and you'd like to stand up and "give a rouse" for Dartmouth and her class of '73 now or in '94 please let us hear from you! I will gladly forward any and all offers of leadership or support, as well as comments and suggestions for our reunion. Also, I would probably faint if any personal news were to accompany a note directed to my home address!
