Jerry and The Dolls

More than a couple of Dartmouth folks were involved in broadway's mega-revival of Guys and Dolls including John Hart Jr. '75, who helped raise a third of the budget; financial contributor Fred Whittemore '53, T'54; intern Ethan Frechette '94; and, of course, director Jerry Zaks '67 (shown here with a few of the Dolls). Any Dartmouth bias aside, this is It, the Great American Musical, the Moby-Dick of a uniquely American artform. Thanks to the master Zaks, It's never been presented better. Robert Sullivan
