Now we've lost BlytheI Adams, John Stigall, BobI Brandt and, just before closing time, LarryLougee, so your second team has to take over the column for Mary. I remember an old verse from 1979: Back now at Dartmouth, of old friends bereft, We find in many ways we've never left, And, musing, where so long ago we trod, Know even then we sought our wav to God.

I've been lucky to see Larry several times lately and am doubly sad to lose him. How I wish he could have seen the rest of you. Larry wanted so much to see Lake Moosehead again, and, happily, he made it.

Most of us keep showing up.The Cape Dartmouth Club met at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in May by arrangement with Bob Kaiser '39's daughter Robin. Craig Dorman '62 heads this world famous institution and put on a great presentation. A1and Luly Finlay, Marianna Hale, Bill andPolly Magenau, John and AdelaideQuebman, and I were there.

The Finlays, Marianna, the Magenaus, and I enjoyed Mike Choukas's fine talk at our an- nual dinner injune. Three pertinent questions were all asked by '29ers.

Charlie Dudley wonders if a new class list is in order and if we should poll classmates for their comments on the College. Please com- ment.

Arch Diack sent me a really fine etching he did in 1989 with a good letter which I sent to Art Nighswander for '29 Up. It's so good to hear from the rest of the country.

When the program's getting bleaker And you're praying for relief, Give up hope when your next speaker Starts with, "Now I'll make this brief."
