The fall foliage has faded and Thanksgiving will soon be upon us. I sit here in a warm New York Office attempting to compose my first class column, and it ain't easy, boys! Kudos go to all who have passed this way before, especially Tom Jackson, who has handled this chore for most of the past 17 years. I hope to carry the ball without fumbling for the next few months before it is handed over to one who is more talented as a scrivener than I. Keep those cards and letters coming!

We had occasion to dine with Mike Hannigan and his wife Bettyjo. They were recently in Hanover where they deposited their twin daughters, Liza and Kelly, into the Dartmouth freshman class. Mike is an attorney with Mudge Rose, a prominent New York City Law Firm, and resides in Rye, N.Y., with the remainder of his brood, Mike Jr., Brian, Jimmy, and Megan.

What ever happened to the boys from the second-floor hall in Streeter? We would like to hear from J.D. Di Nardo, Skip Wysocki, Mike O'Neill, Bill Mansker, and GusZimmerman. What ever happened to the "Chicken Man"? When last seen he was playing "Light My Fire" backwards, looking for hidden meaning.

Robert Peters is the national president of Morality In Media and recently spoke at a public forum in Portsmouth, N.H. Bob is a New York attorney who is working diligently to expose the negative effects of pornography in our society. Congratulations to Thomas R.Hanna, who was recently installed as a Cheshire County governor for the New Hampshire Bar Association.

I spoke with Robert Augello, who is comfortably ensconced in Middletown, N.Y., with his wife, Joan, and sons Peter and Charles. "Augie" is an attorney who specializes in personal injury and insurance defense. After graduation Bob spent a few years in the Peace Corps, primarily in Central America. Purely by coincidence, we both enrolled in the class of 1979 at Albany Law School, and we spent the next three years in beautiful downtown Albany, N.Y.

We see that Peter Hutchinson is doing quite well with his business, Public Strategies Group Inc., located in Minneapolis. Peter's forte is conducting workshops and training sessions with bureaucratic consultants in an attempt to make the government more responsive. Good Luck! Jerry O'Brien informs me that Bill Skibitsky was recently seen in the vicinity of Avon, Conn. This is the same O'B who claims he saw Elvis in drag at Walmart last year. What an imagination for our newsletter editor. Speaking of our newsletter, Jerry is attempting to compile the next edition, so please pass along personal tidbits to Jerry at 3 Serra Drive, Farmington, CT 06032. And while you are at it, drop me a few lines so that I may "have some fodder for my next class column. In the immortal words of Anonymous, "If I don't see you in the future, I will see you in the pasture."
