68 An update on Gary Hobin: Gary and family have settled in the Atlanta area, where Gary is looking for just the right follow-up job to his career as an army officer, and where son Brian, now 17, is loose on the Georgia highways with a new driver's license. Gary expects to remain in Atlanta for the foreseeable future and hopes to catch up with any '68s who head there for the Summer Olympics in 1996.

My predecessor as class secretary, BobBlock, continues to practice orthopaedics in Bennington, Vt., currently working primarily with spinal problems. Winding up his final year as president of the Vermont State Orthopaedic Society, Bob hopes to find more time for biking and hiking with his sons.

A belated "Happy First Birthday" to McKenzie Allison Floyd, born on May 11, 1990, and belated "Congratulations" to DavidFloyd and to McKenzie's mom.

Congrats to Line Eldredge, who was recently appointed partner of Lamalie Associates, the nation's seventh largest executive search firm. Linc recently made the move to Lamalie from Ward Howell in Dallas, where he had been a partner since 1982.

William Green began this academic year as the Philip S. Bernstein Professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Rochester. At Rochester since 1974 and director of the religious studies program since 1980, Professor Green has built an impressive record as teacher and scholar. His fellowships and other academic awards include a Mellon Foundation Fellowship, a Study Fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies, a Citation for Distinguished Achievement from Brown University's Graduate School, and now the endowed Bernstein Chair at Rochester.

From the administrative office of the United States Courts came the news in August that Noel Augustyn had been named the AO's first assistant director for court programs. Formerly in private practice with the Washington, D.C., law firm of Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather and Geralson, and a former administrative assistant to Chief Justice Rehnquist, Noel now provides management attention to the critical programs of the Judiciary. These include guidance and support for court administration, probation and pre-trial services, defender services, and court and Judicial security.

Remember, it's fewer than five years to the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and fewer than three years to our 25th!
