Bill Laighton writes from Westfield, Mass., that he is well, has beaten cancer, and has resumed gardening again.
Bill Chapman, whose birthday is Christmas, writes from Florida that their son died suddenly last July—a shock to his parents since he had been caring for them. They have moved to a care facility. The address is Abbey Delray South, 2615 S/W 17th Circle, Del Ray Beach, FL 33445.
Earl Krogstad checked in from Tyler, Texas, with the family Christmas letter. Gertrude broke her hip last November, which slowed down their Christmas holidays. They had three new great-grandchildren born in 1993. Their son Dan, who is an actor in New York City, joined a group of actors from foreign countries in Edinborough, Scotland, last spring. Daughter Trudy lives with her parents and is a great help in their daily care.
On a sad note, we conclude with the news of the death of Win Rodormer in Sea Island, Ga., on December 15. Thanks to Bob Fairchild '29, who noted the obituary in the newspapers of Syracuse, where Win lived and worked for many years. His obituary will appear in a forthcoming issue of this magazine.
