What campus publications do you read on aregular basis?

It wasn't a surprise to anyone that The Dartmouth led the readership polls with 149 responses or 50 percent. More interesting is that a third of the students contacted 111, to be exact—said they didn't read any campus publication. Other top readership choices were The Dartmouth Review (15 percent), the feminist tabloid Spare Rib (13 percent), the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine (5 percent), and the new Sports Weekly (5 percent). Here is a sampling of the responses:

I read The Dartmouth Review, for the simple reason it is the only one at my door without me having to do anything for it.

I have long since stopped reading the Review, and feel it is far from making any sort of intellectual or factual or worthwhile argument, and merely tries immaturely to gain attention through offense.

I don't read any of the campus publications regularly. I find most of the articles either uninteresting, poorly written, or polemical.

I basically read everything that is published at Dartmouth, because I feel it's very important to know what is happening at Dartmouth. I also like to see how different campus publications will portray or discuss different campus and worldwide issues and/or occurrences.

No, I don't read the paper. I don't have the time. Between working to pay back the $90,000 that this school holds me responsible for and my classes, would YOU have time to read the paper!?
