After a brief stint at Macy's on 34th Street, JohnNeville is living in New York City and attending NYU's Stern School of Business. He invites any classmates to look him up. Anthony Morris is also at Stern.
Both William Boulware and John Luedke are completing their second year at University of Wisconsin Law School. William is drafting advisory opinions and conducting studies on proposed legislation as a clerk for the Wisconsin Legislative Council. He will be working for the Great Lakes Indian Law Center in Green Bay, Wise., this summer. Also at Madison are Tim Cleary, pursuing a Ph. D. in history, and Rob Walker, working toward a Ph.D. in chemistry.
William hoped to meet up with RichardBeaver and Mary Es Anderson Beaver as he headed to Houston, Texas, for spring break in March. He also reported that he believes Tommy Lamme graduated from the University of Houston Law School last year. Mike Brown and Teresa Devlin Brown are in Austin, Texas, where Mike is pursuing his M.B.A. at the University of Texas.
Other news passed along by William: Gwen Pointer is graduating this month from the Wharton School of Business, with an M.B.A. in finance. Kyle Blood is alive and well in New York City, where he has moved into a new apartment, and he continues his work at Forbes magazine. Mamie Hill will marry in Maine on May 28. John Weatherly is married and living in Chicago, I11. William wrote that he wants to salute Michael Lowenthal's efforts to encourage Dartmouth to recognize domestic partnerships.
The newest executive editor of The Yale Law Journal is our own Michael Reynolds. Michael has been told that he'll have no life for the next year and a half, but he's done it before as the editor-in-chief of The Dartmouth, so he knows the lifestyle well. Looking for a Legal Problem Solver, Michael?
Back from a stint on the East Coast, VladiStanojevic and his wife, Tessa, are living in a house they purchased in Albuquerque, N.M. Vladi is teaching language arts to special education students at the Eldorado High School and is heading the boys' varsity soccer program (his team was 12-4 last season). He's also in a master's program in special education (learning disabilities) at the University of New Mexico. Tessa is working as a dental-office coordinator. Sue MacLennan will begin a six-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Cincinnati after she graduates from Dartmouth Medical School in June. She writes she will be sad to leave Hanover after so many years, and would like to get in touch with any '9os living in Cincinnati now, since the city* is new to her. Sue sent along the news that Hallie Brooks is living and working in Jackson, Wyo., and will attend medical school in the fall. Chris Infante is a second-year student at University of Texas Law at Austin. Elisabeth Kahl is a third-year student at University of North Carolina Medical School, and will spend time during her psychiatry rotation studying the reasons behind Sue's decision to "voluntarily subject myself to a six-year surgery residency." I'll report her findings in a future column.
Todd Eckler will graduate from Harvard Business School this spring and will continue to work as a consultant at the Monitor Company in Boston, where he also worked before and during his time at Harvard. His wife, Kristen Politica Eckler, graduates this spring from Tufts Medical School and will be an obstetrics and gynecology resident at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
In case you haven't heard by now, CherylLoeffler Shepard has been appointed to head up the committee planning our Fifth Reunion. This event takes place in June, 1995 in Hanover, and promises to be a lot of fun. Cheryl will be looking for volunteers to help in this venture. Look for more news in the coming months.
