Clinton Agrees

For the third year in a row a Dartmouth professor has been honored with a Presidential Faculty Fellowship Award—which includes a National Science Foundation grant of $100,000 for up to five years. The professor: Daniel Rockmore of the math department. His field: group theory, which he describes as the "way mathematicians characterize symmetry...the crossroads of computer science, statistics, and algebra."
