Just when I thought we had our roving correspondent broken in, he changes venue on us! As you may have noticed in the Winter issue's "Give a Rouse" column, Nels Armstrong has been appointed director of Alumni Relations at—of all placesDartmouth! One hopes that his new responsibilities won't preclude an occasional appearance in this column. Congratulations, Nels.
The class of '71 seems to be unusually influential in the Minnesota House of Representatives: two of the seats from the St. Paul area have been held for the last several terms by classmates Bob Milbert and TomPugh. While I am aware that both Tom and Bob ran for re-election last fall as candidates for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, and presume they both bucked the prevailing national political winds and held on to their seats, I haven't been able to confirm that through my limited sources. Hence, an opportunity for you guys, separately or together, to fill us in on your news from St. Paul.

Dick Wenzel has been putting his Thay er School degree to good use with San Francisco's Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). He writes: "BART will be opening three new stations next year and two more after that. It has been a lot of effort over several years. Civil work is nearly complete with traction power, train control, and communications still to complete. All is well with our family."
And finally, preparations for the 25th Reunion continue. By the time you read this, another planning meeting will have been held to appoint chairmen to the remaining committee positions and finalize the reunion "team." Agenda items will include discussions of important details about food, entertainment, and other social matters, progress reports on the giving campaign, and review of the production schedule for the reunion yearbook. Once again, each of you is invited to join in and help make the 25th the success it deserves to be. Please get in touch with Jon Osgood if you would like to be involved.
