I believe I mentioned in the last issue of the magazine that Bob Button was not doing so well, but I had no particulars. I still don't know exactly what problems he is having, but have learned through Isabel Pounder that he has visiting nurses during the day and also at night. And he is fortunate to have his daughters visit on weekends. Apparently, in spite of whatever problems he has, he is still able to make occasional visits to a local nursing home accompanied by his wife, Decima, to entertain the residents with some of his fine piano playing. If he can still do that he must be in reasonable shape. So we congratulate him and hope he never loses that touch on the piano.

Jackie Guibord lives at 3 Alec Lane, Plymouth, MA 02360, near her children. She wants to be remembered to everyone in the class of 1936. And if you would like to give her a call sometime, her number is (508) 732-0278. Having given that information, I decided to call her myself and I'm glad I did. Earlier this year she had a cervical spine operation, which was very successful. Jackie sounded great and was in very good spirits. We hope she will stay that way for a long time to come.

We hear from his family that Robert Bright died on September 29, 2002. He came from a green family: His late brother Arthur was class of 1939, nephews Arthur and Nelson are class of 1969 and grandniece Laura is class of 1996.

As we have mentioned many times, we need your input to keep this column going, so keep us posted on anything new in your life.
