Taking the unconventional route, Jackie Dufault turned away from a skibum opportunity (she had even paid the airfare) and is instead working as a marketing associate for the largest commercial realestate services firm in New England, Whittier Partners, in Boston. Despite having turned away from a terrific winter of blissful snow out West, Jackie claims to be learning "an incredible amount and couldn't have hoped for more in my first job out of school." She has been able to travel and went to Greece to take part in the wedding of Irene Georgakoudi and Jim St. John '9l, sailed around the Greek Isles for a few weeks, and later visited Veree Hawkins at SMU, where she is pursuing her M.B.A.

"A few '93s gathered in Florida for some golf and beach for New Year's. Dem Schane (in his first year at William and Mary Law), Brian Sims (in his first year of teaching history and geography in Louisiana), John Notz (about to begin his second year in Tiajin, China, working for Motorola), and me." "Me" was Jimmy Young, who has recently moved from New York City to Denver with the REIT for which he works. While in Florida, they saw Aimee Nassou (in her second year at Fordham Law), SandyOsborne, who works at J.P. Morgan in New York, Dave Friedman '92, and Mitz Moore '91.

"I am working at home (Seattle) for an employee benefits consulting firm. Cool job, fun business, I like it (although, like everyone else in the world, I could use more money)," writes C. Cameron Kelly. "Just started there in June. Before that I was farting around working for a restaurant and trying in vain to get a job on the Pearljam roadie crew. The closest I got to the grunge scene was when one of my dad's employees discovered Kurt Cobain's body. True story." Cam was visited by George Roumanis and Jim Lewin, en route and back from New England to Alaska in Jim's '86 "BLICK." "On their return voyage they brought me a gift of many fine Canadian beverages for which I was most thankful. We purchased confusing Seattle coffee drinks such as decaf double tall skinny hazelnut latte with extra foam and nutmeg—no joke."

Shellon Blanchard has been working as a pharmaceutical specialist for Eli Lilly and Cos. in Livingston, N.J., since last March, living on her own, and enjoying her work.

And that's the news.
