We send our sympathy to Blanche and Milt McInnes for Blanche's stroke in March, which kept her hospitalized until early May. They've given up their apartment in Pinecrest Village and moved into the nursing facility, Pinecrest Manor, operated by the same people. They'd like to hear from you at 114 South Wesley Ave., #W4-6, Mt Morris, IL 61054—and don't forget to correct your address list.

I'm sorry to note the passing of Hank Odbert one of the original seven from Lakewood, Ohio, among whom Hub Christman,Johnny Marsh, and I still struggle along. In the past few years, Hank had demonstrated real survivorship, living through a heart ailment, a fall downstairs, a broken arm, surgery, and three years of Parkinson's. He would have been 86 in June.

As Rapid Robert, The Keene Reporter, has told you, we had a wonderful reunion. Among other honors for our 65 th, the Alumni Magazine has glorified our lofty position by cutting 1930's column from 350 to 250 words, starting next month. When I was tapped 13 years ago, we were allowed 650. Admittedly, the Mag does have to make room for the class of '95, with countless hundreds of new alumni. This will increase Bob's burden, but please don't leave me out.

Many of us limp. We don't hear as well as we used to. Frankly, many of us don't have hearing aids but should, and many who do have, including me, need better ones. Nevertheless, I felt a distinct honor in being a member of the 65-year class. At the College's June 10 luncheon for the reuning classes and again at the June 11 Commencement exercises, in the presence of President Clinton, 1930's 65th was cited along with 1945's 50th and 1925's 70th.

Though our tribe diminishes, 1930's support of the Dartmouth Education Association still stands high above all neighboring classes. The association's current report, recently received, lists 32 members from 1930, a number not equaled until you thumb through the pages down to 1954, a class which, with ex-prexie Dave McLaughlin and ex-trustees Dick Page and John Steel among its members, lists 39 supporters of the association.
