An article in the Lewiston (Maine) Sunjournal announced that Peter Elias has been recertified as a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. More importantly, it provided me with some interesting information about Pete that I will pass on. Besides his family practice, Pete is a clinical hypnotist and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He also has special interests in behavioral medicine, learning disabilities, sports medicine, and the use of computers in medicine. Pete's wife, Cynthia, provides specialized tutoring services through the Auburn school department. His oldest child, Gretchen, is a senior atMiddlebury College while Joran is a junior at Gould Academy.

The Wall Street Journal has named ArtSoter the number one All Star analyst for 1995. Art works for Morgan Stanley and his stocks returned 88 percent last year. He has been honored twice for stock picking and three years in a row for estimate accuracy. When not making money for himself and others, Art engages in the kinds of sports that "49-year-old guys do before their joints explode."

Mike Rieder called the other day (actually his wife, Andy, did) to tell me that their son Evan will be a member of the Dartmouth class of 2000. I received a printout of our Alumni Fund giving compared to other classes in group VII ('64-'69). Our participation was 47 percent, lowest of the group.
