Jim Fannin '58 and wife Minxie, professional graveyard restorers, were on campus recently to direct volunteer workers at the historic campus graveyard. (Pictured from left in die foreground, Bill Wilson '34, Dick Gruen '34,Fannin, and Craig Cain '45.) With water and a wide assortment of stiff-brisde brushes, including toothbrushes for lettering, the volunteers helped administer die considerable elbow grease necessary to scour lichens and algae that accumulate on the gravestones. One good-sized stone is a day's work.
