Here's something we can all appreciate—did you know that Printing Industries of America, which announced its Premier Print Awards back in September, awarded the 1994 for "Best School Yearbook!" Congrats to Ed Macri, Aegis editor, and all the other Arer staffers who helped win our class and our school this honor! Well, just when you think you've left one institution, you enter another...Yes, we have more '94 engagements to announce this month. I guess my "wedding column" peer pressured some more of you into marriage vows. Lovebirds Hugh Carspecken and Lisa Johnson "have decided, as of june 10,1995, to spend the rest of their lives together," writes Hugh Carspecken. Denise Vargas was married to her Honduran fiance this past summer in Honduras. Andrea Darling is tying the knot with her longtime beau Todd Brady '93 this June. Much love and luck to all you newly weds!

Now, on to other institutionally bound people. After spending a year as a member of Clinton's National Civilian Community Corps, Jay Torian drove across the country and returned home to Lincoln, Mass., where he is living while applying to law schools. During his year with Americorps, Jay did some neat things: "I received disaster-training, flew on top-secret flights, and met the President—not necessarily in that order." Alan Scott spent the year after graduation cruising the slopes in Squaw Valley, Calif. "I am now buckling down to do some serious reading as a first-year student at Northeastern Law School in Boston," writes Alan.

Marcelling Garcia wrote me at the beginning of the summer from 25,000 feet in the air while en route from Northwestern Law in Chicago to Puerto Rico, where he worked all summer at the second largest firm on the island. But it wasn't all work for Marcelling this summer as he first flew to Lima, Peru, with Carmen Buso '93 and visited Machu Pichu, the Nascar lines, and Lake Titi Caca. At the end of the summer, Marcelling attended Denise Vargas's wedding in Honduras.

Here's Marcelino's news on fellow '94s: Steve Villanueva was working as a DJ in a "hot and trendy" club in Tijuana until he got discovered by a modeling agency. Steve signed a contract, headed to Japan to do some runway and photo shoots, and is headed next to LA to try and make it on the big screen. Good luck, Steve! Randy Quinones is heading to Tufts or Yale to do a master's in economic policy.

Carnell Chosa is getting his master's in education from Harvard. Ahnawake Belt and lan Carroll '93 are moving to either Seattle, San Fran, or Boston. (I'm sure you're there by now!) Ahnawake spent the year after graduation working in the Fairbanks, Ala., public school system, and lan worked at a hospital there. Mary Hayes is heading- to U/C to do a Ph.D. in English.

Well, that wraps up the Marcelino update. And one final update from me before I run out of room: I received an email from Byron Berk, who wanted to let us know that he is living in Boston with Eric Vanni and working as a computer consultant for Edgewater Technology in Wakefield, Mass. "Mario Esposito and Brook Brouha recently came to visit us," writes Byron. Mario started law school at Northwestern this fall, and Brook is busy interviewing for medical schools while teaching down in Virginia. OK folks, now stop reading and start writing!
