With all due respect to Jupiter Pluvius may I say that I, for one, have had enough! As I write here on Massachusetts' South Shore I look out on the latest deposit—about eight inches of the white stuff for a total so far of more than 100 inches and contemplate what the Ides of March will bring with only trepidation. We've been to Florida, enjoyed a few days of delightful sunny weather, even visited Amelia Island, regrettably only to find BobCraig off-island visiting family elsewhere. We did visit Fort Clinch, viewed Bob's handiwork on the massive doors to the fort, and stayed at a lovely 1890s B&B. As this comes to you in late May I trust our winter woes will be but a blurred memory.

By the news mavens at Alumni Records Office we are informed that Bill Seidman addressed the chamber of commerce at High Point, N.C., at the chamber's annual dinner in December of last year. Bill delivered a characteristically strong and up-beat talk on the country's direction.

Charlie Cusack writes that he and Barbara visited with Bill and JackieMaeck, now residents of Sun City, while attending an Elderhostel program in Phoenix.

During dinner and the evening there was great reminiscing about classmates from the "old neighborhood" of Old Greenwich, Conn., and the likes of BobBarnum, Johnny Hutchinson, and JoelKoci.

Bill has retired from his position as trust officer in Greenwich, Charlie grew up in Old Greenwich. Bill, an avid golfer, has been sponsored for membership in a golf club by Duke Dushame, also a resident of Sun City.

Dates to remember: 1943's Cape Cod luncheon on Thursday, June 13. ChanStevens has details at (508) 362-3987 for those who may be in the area at that time. And the fall mini-reunion at Hanover takes place this year on the weekend of October 11-12—the Holy Cross game.

With deep regret I must inform you of the death of Butch Coningswood on February 3 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, Bermuda Run, N.C., and of the death of Hank Coulter on February 12 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Have a good summer and don't forget to write.
