Like amateur cultural anthropologists, Andy Cutler and I recently recreated the annual Spring Break migration of Heorotian hunter-gatherers down to my parents' house in Miami. Highlights of the expedition included observation of mating rituals at Madonna's Rose Bar on South Beach, four rounds of the Scottish aboriginal game of golf and the opportunity to track the great white shark live at the Doral. All that was missing was Doug"Goop" Bradley and J. Higgins Manker hanging on the rail at Hialeah Race Track, waiting to hit the trifecta.
