Edward S.Judd Jr., M.D., of Rochester, Minn., tells us that he and Virginia are enjoying good health. He retired from his practice of general surgery about 13 years ago, and he winters in Maui, where he looks forward to meeting with Jim North. Ed also is in touch with Jack Hollern of Minneapolis.
Mike Cardozo, on being elected class secretary at his recent 65th reunion at Andover, recalls the uproar he caused in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine when he was our class secretary in 1948. He "mused a bit" about that year's election (Truman vs. Dewey). This musing was interpreted as injecting politics in the DAM column, and there were more letters to the editor than ever before! (Mike, we think they handle musings differently today.)
Morrison G. "Tuck" Tucker is the subject of a several-page laudatory article in the Journal Record of Oklahoma City on July 27. We're told that Tuck "helped to shape the banking industry on this continent and beyond, though you wouldn't know it from his reserved demeanor." A busy, civic-minded man, he has recently reduced his involvement in community affairs to Oklahoma City University, where he serves as chairman of the trustees' executive committee.
Sadly, we report the deaths of Bainbridge Davis, Francis Logan, and Richard Griffin.
