The 1997 mini-reunion at Lake Morey Inn was a great party although the attendance was small. Greatly missed, due to medical problems, were Ruthe and Chet Berry, Didi and Bob Gensel, and Jean and Jack Little. Delta Tau Delta had the largest number of brothers present: StaffKing, Bill Mercer, and Jack O'Shea.
Bill Halsey spent a quiet, cool summer. Meanwhile, his wife, Tipi, organized a convention of 2,000 dowsers and invited and scheduled 85 speakers.
Tweedy and Ted Miller enjoyed a "guest-filled" summer at Vinalhaven, Maine. Were delighted with the visit of Willitte Austin, their tour guide for a holiday in the Netherlands.
Bill and "MR" Wotherspoon returning from their summer home at Northport Point, Mich., stopped in Branson, Mo., to see an Andy Williams show and in Fort Worth to see a Monet exhibit. We saw the same exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum in December.
Petah and Oscar Acer missed the mini to help daughter move from Cincinnati to Chestnut Hill. In Greenwich they have three grandchildren singing at Christ Church as a part of 70 boys and 45 girls.
Dick Goulder wrote Stet, "Enjoy the change of seasons in Cleveland until mid January, then to Palm Springs. Zelda continues as before, except I find it difficult keeping up with her pace." Carol and DaveDavenport saw the Goulders in Cleveland last summer along with Ginny and KarlBruch.
