Bob Bunker replied to TagTatgenhorst's request on how to get rid of Canada geese. He reported that a local doctor had hit a beautiful drive—before it had stopped, a goose flew off with it—doctor bagged his clubs forever. The club then bought a border collie, welltrained to chase geese. The collie is a club member (no dues), and the course is free of geese.
Chet Berry had many accomplishments. He was magna cum laude, junior phi beta kappa, and received a Dartmouth graduate fellowship to study for his Ph.D. at Cornell. Best of all, he was the 1939 Beer Tasting Champ.
Gard Ashley, following a trip to Norway, again sang in the annual French School Concert. An art buff, he saw the Cassett exhibit in Chicago and Van Gogh in Washington.

Bob Hewitt caught me adding years not yet reached. He will be 80 this summer, and there are other younger classmates. Bob Weil will join the 80s in November 1999, with Sam Williams and EdSchechter following in January 2000.
From Vero Beach, Fla., BrownieBrowne reported in October on a foot operation that resulted in the mythical "Big Foot." He should be back on the golf course now.
Rowl Hall wrote that he never really knew Scotty Rogers in college but in later years became quite familiar with those two merry madcaps, Scotty and Loomie, because of their activities reported in this column.
