As we age, and the number classmates declines, our columnar lineage is reduced by the powers that be. Thus, henceforth, our winged words here will be limited to 250 per mensem. Lucky you!

This will be the last rallying cry before Reunion. Bob McDonald counts 72 positives and ten possibles, a goodly number. But let the possibles turn positive! A comfortable but interesting program has been arranged, and in June Hanover will be at its best for Commencement. Don't miss it.

Bob hopes to compile an interesting profile of class members and wives from the material provided by the questionnaire that all have received and asks particularly that those who have not done so take a few minutes to fill it out and send it on to him and Mary Jo. The 25-year report was fascinating and has been a point of reference ever since its publication. With full cooperation, the proposed study will also be extremely interesting.

Ann McHugo, acquisitions services librarian, reports that in 1997 20 special books were donated to the library by our class through the operation of our Memorial Book Program, which presents a unique book in memory of each departing classmate. These have ranged from Chateau of the Loire for Marty Kerwin to Masterpieces of the J. Paul Getty Museum for Charlie Stege. A worthy program to honor '33 decedents. Jay Weidenheimer is steaming, with good reason, because Red Rolfe was omitted from the list of Dartmouth's Ten Top Athletes in the March sports number of this mag.
