Leader of the Pack

Dr. Marye Anne Fox '74, became the leader of the Wolfpack in April when she was appointed chancellor of North Carolina State University. Fox is one of the nation's top chemists and was the vice president of research at the University of Texas at Austin, where she worked for 22 years. She is the first female chancellor in NCSU's 111-year history, and her presence is expected to make the college more attractive to women applicants. She took office August 1.
