I just returned home from spending the weekend in Vail with T.J. Raney. I crashed on the floor of the condo that he and some friends had rented for the week. T.J. 's credits: he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska, he's now a psychologist at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, and he makes a mean batch of chili.

Via e-mail I heard from George Price, who is in the middle of his second year at Tuck. After graduation this spring he will work as an equity research analyst for Legg Mason in Baltimore. Last year he married Heidi in Falls Church, Va. James Durand,Rafael Agnirre-Sacasa, and Brian Leske were in the wedding. James is a flight officer in the navy, flying F-14 Tomcats, Raf is an attorney in San Francisco, and Brian is an attorney in Washington, D.C. George says that Laura Friedman is engaged to be married this summer. Dr. Thomas Lee is a proud papa. He and wife Lee Ming Chiu announce the birth of their daughter Christina Alyssa Lee, born November 21, 1998. Christina works at First Union Bank, and Tom is finishing up his ob/gyn residency at Reading Flospital in Pennsylvania. Next on his professional agenda is a subspecialty fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I. By the time you're reading this, Chris Ramsey and wife Julie will also be parents. They were expecting in March. (Chris, drop me an e-mail via your new computer and give me the update!) He is in his second year of urology at the University of Oklahoma. Dan Burak and wife Gwen live at 9,000 feet up in Estes Park, Colo., after spending six years in Chicago. They seem to be loving mountain living, and recently acquired a 95-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback (that's a dog) named Zuky. Dan still works for 3Com—telecommuting, I suppose—and Gwen works for Celestial Seasonings, whose main job is to bring chai to the millions of 18- to 29-year-old cafe goers throughout the United States.
