Loads of nuptial news to report this month. Erica Coles dropped me a line to let me know that she's engaged to John Chasse. He popped the question while they were on vacation in Lake Tahoe. Erica's working for PageNet in Massajchusetts. while John works at Sugarloaf/USA in Vermont. Erica notes that they're contemplating options for living situations in their post-wedding life. "It would really help for us to at least be in one state," she says. Their wedding celebration is planned for the inn at Sugarloaf-USA where they first met at an employee appreciation party.

From The New York Times I learned that Lynn Auth was married to Perry Hall in August. Both earned their M.B.A.s from Tuck; Lynn is a marketing manager for L'Oréal in New York, and Peter is an investment ment banking associate at Merrill Lynch &

Charles Gilman wrote to tell me that Eric Smith and Marylee York exchanged vows in August atop a beautiful hill overlooking their favorite apple orchard near their home in Massachusetts. GustavKhambatta read a hilarious poem that recalled the newlyweds' early days and Marylee's introduction to the "somewhat decadent living on the Hanover plain," says Charles. "We were all really surprised when she came back for a second visit. I guess that's true love."

Charles himself is engaged to be married next May to Marilyn Matthews. She operates a fitness and nutrition clinic; he is working in real estate development and getting his M.B.A. at the University of North Florida.

I told you all about Kim (Goodman) Genzer's wedding a couple of issues ago. She let me know that Mel Hall, who owns Tastes of Africa in White River Junction, catered her fantastic pre-wedding dinner. In other news, Steve Herman, who practices law in New Orleans, recently wrote a book called America and the Law, a collection of legal, social, and political essays, published by Austin & Winfield Publishers. Steve is married to Karen, who is an assistant district attorney. Ross Mandell just bought a house in San Jose, Calif. He's working for CBT Systems in Silicon Valley. He's still Reffing soccer, and his wife is expecting their first child in February.

My freshman-year Hallmate EricPeterson sent me an e-mail to let me know that he's working for his hometown radio station in Rochester, Minn. He's been there since graduation, first working part time, and now serving as the interim program director at the all-sports AM station. Eric's wondering if there's anyone else living in the town they grew up in. Homebodies out there—I'd love to hear from you!
