Apologies, apologies to William Barnet II and his family for reporting in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine that he had passed away this was due to a misunderstanding. Bill called me at my home to say that he was very much alive and kicking. We regret this and hope you will forgive us for this error.

And now for a short report on an exceptionally fine 65th Reunion and credit for its success is given to Bill Wilson with assistance from Bobbie Tobin, Gerry Scherman, Ira Wilson, Lois Frankel, and Bernice Cohen.

Registration opened at 10 a.m. in the Hayward Lounge of the Hanover Inn and there were bus tours in the Dartmouth-Hanover area as well as the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Lunch was on our own or at one of the three graduate schools Tuck, Thayer, or the Medical School. At 6 p.m. we had a class reception and dinner in the Wheelock Room of the Hanover Inn. Shortly after this President and Mrs. James Wright were at home for the alumni and there was also a concert by the Dartmouth Glee Club and Chamber Singers.

We started Saturday morning with a delicious continental breakfast in the Hayward Lounge followed by a class picture at the Wilson Hall steps and a class meeting presided over by our class president Dr. John Tobin. Then a luncheon in the west wing of the Alumni Gym hosted by the. College for Reunion Classes where we listened to addresses by President Wright and a 50-year address by J. Michael McGean '49, secretary of the College, emeritus. At 2:30 we attended class memorial services at the White Church with the Rev. Carla Bailey, pastor officiating. Then time off until 6, when we had a class reception at the Hayward Lounge followed by a delicious dinner in the Wheelock Room where we were entertained by a singing group, the Dartmouth Aires, and an interesting and humorous talk by Jere Daniell '55, professor of history. On Sunday it was continental breakfast and the procession to our preferred seating, two rows behind the graduating class, followed by a farewell luncheon.
