We must be living right. Our class was picked in the lottery for 2001 Homecoming weekend—to have the DOC House as our "house" on the Saturday evening of Homecoming weekend. If you want to help plan this shindig, or host a mini-reunion of your own, contact John Pryor or me. Marianne McCarroll sent me this note from the mini-reunion in November.

Marianne reports that Lauren Woodhouse and her new husband, Brian (just married in October), came up from center city San Francisco. Lauren, who has been in the specialty group travel industry since '84, actually met Brian on a blind date set up by an older couple who met her on a tour she was leading. Needless to say, they had a very tricked-out honeymoon in Costa Rica. You can find out the details by e-mailing her at laurenw@siemerhand.com. Fenton Wardle, a musician with the Reggae Angels in Oakland, had planned to come but couldn't. You can get more news from him at the band's hotline, (510) 653-4069. Marianne was there with her motorhome, which has been retired to a weekend party machine, as she has settled in Stockton as a part-time substitute teacher. She spends nonwork days chasing her boyfriend Dave, who is a ski, windsurf and mountain bike fanatic. The final word from the mini-reunion; the tastiest s'mores include preheated graham crackers, but cold Hershey's chocolate—accompanied with Cline Zinfandel from Sonoma.

Ralph Barton shares some news from the West Coast. He writes: "My wife, Amy lorio, was just promoted to be the product unit manager for the Microsoft Developer Network. Her job involves managing about 50 technical folks who create technical content to help developers write business applications to the Microsoft .net platform.

"I've just been promoted to senior director of the Enterprise Services Frameworks. We take real-world, proven successes with Microsoft technologies and share them worldwide with Microsoft Consulting Services and Partners. We've both been at Microsoft for almost seven years, which works out to 49 years in MS/dogyears....or at least that what it feels like. We're building a new house on Lake Washington in Medina, Washington—and now know why people pay more for a house that is already built. No kids, just working hard, having fun and doing as much leisure travel as is humanly possible while remaining gainfully employed in a high-tech company.

Todd Greenquist visited us in September. Todd was just promoted to a practice manager position in Oracle's consulting organization and is living in Portland, Maine—although hes got some wild stories about his latest gig in Puerto Rico. Todd's favorite pastimes appear to be Cartoon Network, Game Show Network, VHi and watching a lot of tennis, which makes sense since he flies more than the bald eagles who soar over our house in the summer months."

If any of you have had the chance to look at Dartmouth's Annual Report, you will see a picture of David Hooke and his wife, Kathy Roy Hooke '85, and a wonderful article about their trip to India. David and Kathy wanted to go somewhere where they could be useful, and landed in Ladakh, India, teaching English. David is assistant director of outdoor programs at Dartmouth and is continuing his work with the Tibetan Children's Village, of which the school in Ladakh is a part.

I received a copy of an article written for Electronic Design Magazine by Ed Eacueo. The article, "What Should You Look For When Specifying An Electronics Enclosure," was easy to read, even for those of us who are technically challenged. Ed is a program development manager for telecom and strategic accounts for Schroff North America, a division of Pentair Enclosures America.

I received the sad news that our classmate Leroy Lockhart passed away. Unfortunately, I have no details, and just wish to express condolences to his friends and family, including his sister Maria '86.
