President Charlie Collis has confirmed the mini-reunion dates recommended by our last class meeting. September 21 to 23, with New Hampshire our football opponent. This will be out last "mini" before our 65th reunion!
Our Bill Rotch has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the New England Press Association. Bill edited his family newspaper for more than 50 years, and has written "a couple of columns a week" for more than 60 years.
The McLane family has given a magnificent $3.5-million Dartmouth Skiway building in honor of our Peter McLane. His son Andy '69 said it best: "I learned from my father a love for the state, its outdoors, mountains, skiing and, of course, the College." Will and Nat Brown spent the winter in Hawaii. Bill and Patty Rotch plan a spring visit to Albuquerque to see their son Peter '63 and Sue (John Rands daughter). Their granddaughter is graduating from the University of New Mexico medical school. John Endicott Emerson joins all of us in mourning the passing of Dayton Morgan, whom we remember from College Hall days. He reports a "nice note" from Joe and Olive Tardiff, who live in Exeter, New Hampshire. Emerson and I are cheering the third edition of my Putnams of Salem Village, which details our common ancestry. Or should it be "our uncommon ancestry?"
