Campbell. The land the school stands on had been in the family since 1734. Bob and Beth live in Saxton's River, Vermont.
A postcard from Seattle announces a showing last April at a local gallery of works by painter and sculptor Gordon Brown. It illustrates four interesting works by Gordon, who once cited among his life's highlights, "imprisonment in Argentina...abduction by four Russian youths in Leningrad...desert survival in Kardofan, Sudan" and travel to lots of other remote spots on the globe. Picked up The New York Times on May 13 and found, at the top of page 1 of the real estate section, a large picture of Ginny and Swift Barnes standing on the balcony of their three-bedroom attached house at Kings Way in Yarmouthport, Massachusetts, overlooking a pond on the ad- jacent golf course. The headline: "Seniors Fuel Growth Spurt on Cape Cod." It goes on to quote Swift quipping that "we have waterfront property. " Swift retired six years ago but still owns a business and condo in Newburyport, Massachusetts. They had owned a large summer house nearby and moved into their new quarters last year.
