The mini-reunion on October 19-21 arranged by Joe Hayes in Norwich was enjoyed by 22 classmates plus wives. Attending for the first time was the Rev. Dee Mallary of Bradford, Vermont. Since his retirement from the ministry, he has been actively involved in Habitat for Humanity in the Upper Valley. He related some of his experiences and requested help both from alumni and students. Additionally, Dee has agreed to assist George Bingham in writing obituaries for class members. George continues to oversee the memorial book fund, which honors each deceased classmate with a volume in Baker. Joe Kureys early postcard survey on June reunion attendance indicates 64 definite attendees from among classmates and wives plus 30 more who are undecided. Bob Kirsch is again doing the honors in reunion organization. Plan to join us in Hanover on June 10-12. Although he will be unable to join us in June, Al Johnson supplies a new temporary address from Honolulu: 845 Waiaka Road, #A-1, Honolulu, HI 96826. Mo Morrison celebrated his 75th birthday at the University of New Hampshire football game when his family appeared in green T-shirts with the number 75 and "Morrison" across the back.

Dick and Cindy Nickelson responded to our earlier plea for news with a note indicating celebration of their 50 th wedding anniversary in the fall of 2000, extensive travel to South America, Europe, and the Near East. They were planning to be in Patagonia and Terra Del Fuego in February 2002. Jay and Sally Larmon are still enjoying skiing and travel, having been to Yosemite last winter and to Ireland on a group trip in October. Ham Chase reports the initial slate of class officers proposed by the nominating committee, subject to election by the class in June: president, John Trethaway; vice president, Bill Hallager; secretary, Don Page; treasurer, Dick Hollerith; head agent, Frank Weber; newsletter, Fred Sistare and Ginny Mather; memorial book program, George Bingham; executive committee, to be named at the June reunion. Additional nominations may be sent to Ham Chase (63 Maple Ave., Keene, NH 03431). The current executive committee was named to include all who were in attendance at a reunion prior to our 50th. Ham Chase provides some disquieting news. Missing in the September 11 disaster in NYC was Joseph Flounders '77.son ofour deceased classmate Joe Flounders. More recently, the son's widow, apparently despondent, ended her own life. The column would welcome news from among our classmates, especially from the large group of physicians in the class from whom we hear little. The sympathy of the class is extended to the families of H. Gerard Bissinger of New York City, who died on October 25, and Dr. Arthur Carr of Hurley, New York, who died September 4.
