I've been away for a while (California for a family wedding) and am just back on time to make the deadline. I had hoped there'd be some news but not so. However, John McClintock keeps us well abreast of things in his newsletters. The releases from the College go to both of us and since the newsletter goes to all I see no sense in repetition. However, I do have a telephone (732-741-5079) and my address shows below, so don't be strangers. I've spoken to head agent Tom Adams and the Alumni Fund is proceeding nicely. I'll give you the final results in my next letter. For now, thank you all for being so generous. Now for a couple of important items for our class. Our mini-reunion is scheduled for October 31, November 1 and November 2. John McClintock will provide the details. I would hope for a good turnout for a couple of reasons. We have a rather sizeable amount of money in our memorial book fund account at Baker Library. Based upon the amount and the number of '46 ers still with us, we will have funds left over when the last of us departs this earth. How to dispose of those monies? We have received some suggestions in the past but we should have more, and it should be a topic for the mini. So please write to me, Prez Walt Snickenberger or John McClintock with your ideas. We should also finalize a constitution because, failing this, any remaining funds would revert to the College. Finally, we're on the lookout for a class secretary and class treasurer. I plan to submit my resignation for both at the mini-reunion. With sadness I must report the deaths of classmates Graham Brush, Philip Stedfast, John L. Bennett, Richard G. Blades and Robert M. Johns. We extend our deepest sympathy to their families.
