We finally made it to California after two false starts from Connecticut. First a power blackout at the airport and two days later a blizzard.

Just spoke to Put Kingsbury and all is well with he and Louise. We will be getting together.

Sad to hear from David H.Johnson, son of Valdemar R. Johnson, that his father passed away October 9,2002. He is survived by wife Ruth and sons David and Robert, plus three grandchildren. Val was always proud to have been a Dartmouth graduate.

Sadly I must report the death of Phyllis Kaplan Ritter, married to Hal Ritter for 61 years.They had two sons and one daughter. She led a very active life and will be missed by all who knew her.

Everyone have a great 2003—that's an order.
